Day 1
Arrived Delhi / Rishikesh

Meet upon arrival and transfer to Rishikesh. A distance of 240 km can be covered in about 5/6 hrs. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2
In Rishikesh

Full day sightseeing of Rishikesh. Visiting Ramjhula and Lakshman Julla bridges, Shivananda ashram, walk through silver sandy beaches of Ganges. Evening witness of Ganga arati ceremony. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3
In Rishikesh –Kunjapuri hike

Early in the morning 04:30am start driving to get the nearest highest point of Rishikesh called Kunjapuri – a famous Durga temple for Hindus on the elevation of 1990m. Enjoy the spectacular views of snow capped mountains during sunrise, Rishikesh town and Ganges River. Later trek down to Rishikesh follows villages, forests and Neergarh waterfalls. A distance of 14 km all the way down hill trek will be covered in about 5/6 hrs. Afternoon ayurvedic massages and treatments. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4
Rishikesh / Haridwar / Rishikesh

Combined sightseeing tour of Old Rishikesh and Haridwar. Visiting Bharat temple, old market, Triveni ghat, Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi temples, Har Ki Paidi and Arati ceremony . Evening return back to Rishikesh for overnight stay.

Day 5
In Rishikesh

Today’s attraction is Holy River Rafting – white water River Rafting on Ganges and Indian cooking. Selection of stretch of Rafting depends on age group health condition. Afternoon we will assemble for Indian cooking classes. Evening free for preparation of mountain trip. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6
Rishikesh / Kalimath (1850m)

After breakfast drive to Kalimath . On the way visit Vasishtha cave for meditation. Lunch enroute. A distance of about 200 km can be covered in about 6/7 hrs. After arrival set up our camp next to the river Kali Ganga . Evening visit Goddess Kali temple. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 7
Kalimath / Kalishila (2000m approx) / Monsuna

After breakfast with pack lunch 3 hrs steep trekking leads to Kalisila- huge stone where goddess Kali killed demons. This place has great energy. Visit small ashram of baba Barkha Giri. 2hrs trek down to next camp site called Monsuna next to the river Madhu Ganga. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 8
Monsuna / Deoria Tal

Through the dense forest 5/6 hrs trek leading to an Himalayan lake – Deoria Tal (2400m) surrounded by forest. This lake is in Kedarnath Nation Park. This lake is famous for its Panoramic views of Himalayan peaks such as Mt. Kedarnath 6800m, Mt. Chaukhamba 7120m, Mt Kharchkund 6700m and some un named peaks. This trek often giving a good view of the surrounding villages. You can take the time off to explore the area around. Overnight in tent.

Day 9
Deoria Tal / Chopta 2900m

The mornings in the Himalayas are one to look forward to. Wake up early to catch the first rays of the sun on the snow covered Himalyas. After breakfast we set forth to Chopta. This is a gradual trek and takes 5-6 hours to complete, which however pass relatively quickly as you pass through the dense, cool forests and beautiful alpine meadows dotted with wild flowers. Arrive at Chopta and camp at outskirts. Meals and Overnight stay in tents.

Day 10
Chopta / Chandrasila Top(4000m) / Chopta

Our target today is to reach the summit of Chandrashilla in time so that we can catch the panoramic view of the high Himalayan peaks in good light. The trek is mostly a gradual ascent through the dwarf rhododendron bushes. At the summit, take in a good look at the prominent peaks surrounding you from all directions. Almost every prominent peak of the Garhwal Himalayas can be spotted from here. To one side is Nanda Devi (7817Mtrs-the highest peak of Indian Himalayas), Mt Dunagiri, Changbhang, Kamet, Hathi and Gori Parbat the other side is Kedarnath, Trishul, Banderpoonch, Black peak. There are many more unnamed mountains can be also seen. One can feel that is sitting in ocean of peaks. Trek back back to Chopta for dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 11
Chopta / Rishikesh

Drive back to Rishikesh via same route. Overnight in hotel.

Day 12
In Rishikesh

Today excursion to famous Neelkanth temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in hotel

Day 13
Rishikesh / Agra

A distance of about 420 can be covered in about 6/7 hr to visit one of the seven wonder – Tajmahal. Half day sightseeins. Overnight in hotel.

Day 14
Agra / Delhi

A distance of about 205 km can be covered in about 3/4 hrs. After arrival if time allows we will proceed for sightseeing of Delhi, visiting Qutub Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple, and Lotus Temple. Drive passes President’s house, Parliament house and Secretariat Buildings. Overnight hotel.

Day 15
Delhi / International airport

Transfer to airport to catch flight home.
