Day 1

ARRIVAL IN DELHI

Meet upon arrival in Delhi International Airport and check into the hotel for rest and relaxation after a long flight. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2

IN DELHI – full day sightseeing

Departure: 9am

Morning after breakfast proceed for combined city tour of Old and New Delhi, visiting Qutub Minar, India Gate (War Memorial), Lakshminarayan Temple and Lotus Temple. Drive next to President and Parliament houses and Secretariat Buildings. Also visit Raj Ghats and Shanti Van – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru and drive next to Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, the old market area. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Delhi.

Day 3

DELHI / JAIPUR

Departure: 7am

After breakfast drive to capital of Rajasthan – Jaipur, known as Pink City. The distance of 265km (165mi) will be covered in about 6 hrs. After arrival check into hotel for refreshment. Afternoon sightseeing of Nahargarh and Jaigarh forts both standing on the Aravalli Hills, overlooking citi of Jaipur. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 4

IN JAIPUR – full day sightseeing

Departure: 9am

After breakfast sightseeing of Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) and Amber Fort with Amer Palace the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. Built in 16th century on a four level layout plan, surrounded by ruins. One can ride on an elephant to the Fort (based on the availability of elephants). Visit City Palace which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. One more very interesting attraction is Jantar Mantar, an 18th century astronomical observatory with several incredible sundials which are the device that tells the time of day by the position of the Sun. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight in a hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5

JAIPUR / AGRA

Departure: 8am

After breakfast drive to Agra, the city of Taj Mahal, on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. It is a city and a municipal board in Agra district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Fatehpur Sikri was founded in 1569 by the Mughal emperor Akbar, and served as the capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571AD to 1585AD. The distance of 240km (149mi) will be covered in about 5hrs. On arrival transfer to hotel for refreshments. Afternoon sightseeing of Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the world built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. The monument made of white marble took over 22 years to finish, between 1630AD to 1652AD. Also visit Agra Fort, a massive structure on the bank of Yamuna River built by famous emperor Akbar in 1565AD. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6

AGRA / MATHURA / VRINDAVAN / DELHI

Departure: 9am

After breakfast transfer to Delhi. On the way sightseeing of Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna – Hindu famous deity. About 10 km (6mi) away from Mathura there is Vrindavan (Mathura twin-city), which hosts hundreds of temples dedicated to the worship of Radha and Krishna. Evening arrival to Delhi hotel for dinner and rest.

 

Day 7

DEPARTURE FROM DELHI

Breakfast in a hotel and transfers to Delhi International Airport.
